SOP for Cleaning Procedure for Photoflurometer

Objective

To clearly lay down the procedure for cleaning.

Scope

This procedure applies to the photoflurometer installed in the quality control laboratory.

Procedure

• After completion of the testing, switch off the instrument.
• Switch off the mains.
• Remove the filter from the instrument and keep it in the filter box in a dedicated drawer.
• Remove the tube from the sample compartment and clean it with the solvent in which the solution of the sample is prepared. Air dry it and keep it in the same drawer.
• Clean the outer surface of the instrument with Isopropyl alcohol and dry it with tissue paper. Record in the format of an instrument log card.
