To provide guidelines for the operation of capsule inspection cum polishing machine.

The procedure outlines the method of operation of the Capsule inspection & Polishing Machine.

PROCEDURE

• Use a Nose mask & rubber gloves while handling the product.
• Fix the product label giving details of the product.
• Load the hopper with Capsules for polishing.
• Adjust the gap between the hopper & inspection plate.
• Start the vacuum pump.
• Start the brush unit & check that it is rotating in a clockwise direction.
• Start the belt.
• Start the vibrator & adjust the rate of flow of capsules by adjusting the vibrator.
• Inspect the capsules visually for broken caps. dented caps as the capsules pass through the inspection belt.
• Pick the rejected capsules & allow only good capsules to enter the polishing unit.
• Collect the polished capsules in airtight containers & store them in a humidity & temperature-controlled area.

PRECAUTION

• Humidity not to exceed 50% + 5% & Temperature 25 deg. C + 2 deg. C.
• Ensure that the Machine is clean before and after use.
• Never put any part of the body in the running machine.
• Use Latex hand gloves and a Mask while handling the product.
