SOP for Recording of Environmental Condition of Control Environmental Chambers

OBJECTIVE

To lay down a procedure for recording and verifying of Environmental conditions of control environmental chambers

SCOPE

The recording and verification of the environmental conditions of the environmental chambers located in the stability section.

RESPONSIBILITY

Execution and Checking: Chemist and above of QC Department.

PROCEDURE

• Stability Chambers is controlled by a “Microprocessor based temperature & Humidity controller” with a digital display indicator.
• A stability chamber shall be attached with the printer and data for temperature and humidity shall be acquired at each hour interval automatically.

• Take the printout of data each working day, Check, sign and date the print data.
• File the data in the respective “Temperature and Humidity” record file
• In case of any problem regarding the environment chamber operation, the chemist will inform the engineering department. The engineering department will then try rectifying the problem or contact the manufacturer for support.
• In case print is not coming out due to some reason, temperature, and humidity shall be recorded as per annexure-1
