To lay down a Procedure for the Preparation of Sanitizing Solution.
SCOPE
This SOP's procedure shall apply to the Production Department of PharmaInfo Ltd.

PROCEDURE
Preparation of Sanitizing Solution
- 70% Isopropyl Alcohol in DM water: Take 700ml IPA in a measuring cylinder. Add a sufficient quantity of DM water to make a 1-liter solution.
- 2% Savlon solution in DM water: Take 20ml Savlon Solution in a measuring cylinder and make 1.0 liter using DM water.
- 2% Dettol solution in D M water: Take 20ml Dettol Solution in a measuring cylinder and make 1.0 liter using DM water.
- 5% Phenol solution in DM water: Heat the bottle containing Phenol in a water bath till it melts. Take 50ml liquified Phenols in a measuring cylinder and make the volume up to 1.0 liters using DM water.
- 4% v/v Hydrogen Peroxide solution in Distilled water: Take 40 ml Hydrogen Peroxide in a measuring cylinder and add distilled water to make up the volume of 1.0 liters.
- 2% v/v Benzalkonium Chloride solution in Distilled water: Take 20ml Benzalkonium Chloride in a measuring cylinder and add distilled water to make up the volume of 1.0 liters.
- 2% v/v Glyceraldehyde solution in Distilled water: Take 20ml Glyceraldehyde in a measuring cylinder and add distilled water to make a volume of 1.0 liters.Note: All these preparations are prepared in the third airlock.
Precaution
Wear Gloves, masks & Goggles before preparing the sanitizing solution.
