SOP for Cleaning of Hot Incubator
OBJECTIVE
To lay down the procedure for cleaning of Hot Incubator.
SCOPE
This shall apply to the Hot Incubator of the Quality Control Instrument Lab.
RESPONSIBILITY
Technical Assistant/ Helper.
Q.C Analyst.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Manager-Quality Control.
MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT
Hot Incubator.
Dry lint-free cloth
Purified water.
PROCEDURE
- Put “OFF” on the main switch.
- Remove all the materials from the hot incubator.
- Let the chamber cool
- Mop the inner and outer surfaces of the hot incubator with a clean and dry duster.
- If there is a need to mop with soap and water, clean it carefully and dry it with a clean dry cloth.
- Frequency: Cleaning is to be done daily.
- Affix the “CLEANED” label and fill in the “Cleaning Equipment Log Book”.
