SOP for Destruction of HPLC and KF Waste

OBJECTIVE

To lay down a procedure for the destruction of HPLC and KF waste 

SCOPE

This procedure applies to the Quality Control Department.

RESPONSIBILITY

Execution: Chemist and above – QC department. 

Checking: Asst. Manager and above – QC department 

PROCEDURE

• Destruction of HPLC and KF waste shall be done as per requirement.
• HPLC waste shall always be collected during HPLC and KF analysis.
• Collected waste shall be transferred to a tightly closed container.
• The container which contains HPLC and KF waste shall be properly labeled.

• Destruction and disposal of HPLC and KF waste shall be done in the presence of personnel from the National Drug Authority.
• The safety data sheet for the disposal of the HPLC and KF Waste shall be provided by the National Drug Authority.
