SOP for Operation of Particle Counter

Purpose

It is established to provide guidelines for the operation of the Particle Counter.

Scope

It is applicable for counting particles in sterile areas.

Procedure

• Press the blue color on/off button on the right side of the instrument.
• The main menu shows a table having different particle sizes and zero values.
• Go to the main option “purge” and select area, sample size area code, purge time and enter it.

• Then fix the sampler in the sampler prob and press the “Start” green button for purging & sampling in a particular area.
• After the data is obtained a few times, it will show different particle sizes.
• Take the printout by pressing the printer button.

Precautions

Keep close sampler prob after use.
