SOP for Operation of Air Sampler

Purpose

It is established to provide guidelines for the use of air samplers.

Scope

It is applicable for air sampling in the sterile area.

Procedure

• Press the white colored on/off button.
• Open the sampler head of the air sampler and fix the prepared media Petri dish having size 90 x 20mm.
• From the “sample air sample” option go to the sample size option and put quantity 100 L/min run for 10 min in a particular area.

• Remove the dish through an opening of the sampling head cover the dish and mark the dish individually for specific area identification.
• Incubate the plates for 48 hours at 30ºC -35ºC
• Count the colonies for specific areas and count the growth.

Precautions

1. Hold tightly during use.
2. Mopp upper head before use.
